Default What anime(s) have you been watching recently?

As the title insinuates, which anime(s) have you seen recently?

Recently I've been watching Naruto and Full Metal Alchemist.

So what about you?

It was a good show. Only 11 eps, works out if you like shorter anime. Lot of realism went into making it, creating a sort of "what-if" story.

Recently none. I don't get into it much, if at all, anymore. The last anime I watched was probably either Noir or Abenobashi Mahou Shotengai a couple of years ago.

Both of those are excellent choices.
I used to be a action anime type but once I branched out I have seen many more interesting shows that way.
I used to avoid slice of life, romance anime like the plague, but now I can really appreciate them.
Nodame Cantabile, Honey & Clover, the Minami-ke series are all really good.
I still like shows like Bebop and Death Note though.

Watched Darker than Black 5 & 6 yesterday.

Today I started with the first episode of Seto no Hanayome. Suppose to be a comedy of sorts.

I enjoyed it.. had a few good laughs.

Have been watching:

_Eve no Jikan / ((Time of Eve))
Seriously I think this is the best anime of 2008 and 2009.

_Genius Part Beyond
Studio 4degrees short movies. Where one of the five was really spectacular.

Oh. Well I know if you saw it you would like it. The main character is a brilliant Neurosurgeon, but the anime is bascially about good versus evil, and explores how we can easily fall to the dark side of our own natures even when we are trying to fight evil.
The manga has won many awards and the anime mirrors it.

Of course you are.

The series follows Dr. Kenzo Tenma as he pursues a young psychopath/sociopath named Johan, whose life Tenma once saved.
He has to grapple with that decision that he made under duress, as others did not want him to save the child. He does the right thing and gets demoted for it - he loses everything. Then ten years later, the horror of Johan emerges- it is simply awesome.

I was going to watch it a few weeks ago but I ended up watching something else. It is always in the "Top ten most brutal/violent anime" lists. I just watched Solty Rei episode 7. and last Night Earl and Fairy episode 8 or 9 I don't remember ^_^

Ristorante Paradiso - 1-7 Excellent Slice of life, Romance series with realistic characters.
Shangri-la-1
Earl and Fairy-1-11
Darker than Black 2- 1 and let me say it was very, very good!

Finished Ristorante Paradiso and it was very good. Great characters and the fact that it was based around food was quite novel. Also the male leads are all older so it was nice to see people OTHER than HS kids grappling with life.
Also finished Earl and Fairy, and it was good, though as with alot of anime, the end felt rushed.
Kobato is very cute so far.
