So if everything is being outdated every 3 years that means students will have to keep up with trends kind of like what tech enthusiasts do with engadget.

Pretty crazy stuff. They predict in 30 years or so a $1000 computer will have more processing power than the entire human species.

30 years is a long time though although we won't have a need for such raw processing power.

It just makes you wonder what kind of architecture will all this be based on. Maybe in 30 years Microsoft might not even be the dominant juggernaut that it is today.
