This year's 19th issue of Shueisha's Business Jump magazine has announced on Wednesday that Tatsuya Egawa is reviving his Golden Boy comedy manga after 13 years in a new series that launches on September 15. In Golden Boy 2 ~ Sasurai no O-Benkyō Yarō: Geinō-kai Ōabare-hen, the wandering protagonist Kintarō Oe now takes on the entertainment world for his next job(s).

Beelzebub Manga Gets TV Anime in January |

An advertisement has revealed that a television anime adaptation of Ryūhei Tamura's Beelzebub manga will premiere next January. The advertisement lists the following cast members: Katsuyuki Konishi, Miyuki Sawashiro, Shizuka Itou, Aki Toyosaki, Tomokazu Seki, and Takahiro Mizushima.

Longtime Marvel exec and film producer Avi Arad has joined Production I.G., LLC, the U.S. arm of famed anime studio Production I.G., as Chairperson, according to Animeanime via Anime News Network.
Arad, who produced Marvel’s early movies X-Men, Spider-Man, and Iron Man, is involved with Dreamworks’ Ghost in the Shell film (see “Ghost in the Shell Movie Closer”). Production I.G. produced the Ghost in the Shell anime.

Yumeiro Pâtissière's New TV Series to Start in October |

The October issue of Shueisha's Ribon magazine is confirming next Friday that a new Yumeiro Pâtissière television anime series will premiere on October 3. The title of the new series will be Yumeiro Pâtissière Professional.
